Q. Who do I call when toner is low?
 
A. IT will be maintaining toner in the Samsung devices. If you encounter a “low toner” warning on a Samsung device, contact IT at helpdesk@tnwesleyan.edu.
 
Q. Who do I call for repair?
 
A. Each of the Samsung devices have a sticker on the front with a unique identification code and 800 number to call for support.  You will need to provide the service center with the unique printer ID when reporting a service request. Alternatively, you may contact the IT Help Desk and we can report the issue.

Q. How is paper supplied?
 
A. Paper will continue to be supplied to the printer in your area by your department. However, this paper will not be charged to your department. Paper may be obtained from the Service Room in Townsend Hall.

Q. How long will my print job remain in the system if I do not immediately retrieve it?
 
A. Print jobs remain in the system for a period of 120 minutes before they are purged (it does not hold print jobs indefinitely).

Q. Is it possible to print without scanning my card or logging in at the device?
 
A. Yes. There are two options: release from your computer via the Print Release web page, or release from your mobile device.
  • To release your print job immediately from your computer to a campus printer of your choice, log on to: http://printing.tnwesleyan.edu:9191/ (on-campus only) using your TWU network username and password. Once logged in, select “Jobs Pending Release,” choose your print job, then select the printer you wish to release to. Your print job will print immediately.
     
  • To release your print job immediately from your mobile device (*note: you must be connected to the TWC MAIN wireless network), log on to http://printing.tnwesleyan.edu:9191/mr (on-campus only) using your TWU network username and password. Once logged in, select the printer you wish to release your job to, then select the print job you wish to release. Your print job will print immediately.

Q. How do I access the TWU Printing Portal?
 
A. Visit http://printing.tnwesleyan.edu:9191/ (on-campus only) and log in with your TWU network username and password. You can see a history of your environmental impact, release print jobs automatically, upload files for printing (web-print), and more.

Q. How can I see the environmental impact of my printing (as well as that of the organization as a whole)?
 
A. Visit http://printing.tnwesleyan.edu:9191/environmentaldashboard (on campus only).

Q. How can I print with advanced capabilities such as color, ledger (11X14), stapling, and/or hole-punch?
